KTC Gnocchi with White Kidney Beans Recipe

Gnocchi with White Kidney Beans. Makes: 4


2 tbsp KTC extra virgin olive oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 tsp KTC garlic paste
ΒΌ tsp KTC chilli powder, or more if you like a real kick
1 tsp sweet smoked paprika
50ml white wine
1 x 400g tin KTC chopped tomatoes
1 x 400g tin KTC white kidney beans, rinsed and drained
500g gnocchi
salt and freshly ground black pepper

To Serve
freshly grated parmesan
fresh basil


  1. Heat the oil in a medium sized saucepan. Add the onions and cook over a moderate heat for 10 minutes, then add the garlic and spices and cook for a further 2 minutes. Add the chopped tomatoes, sugar, bring to the boil and simmer for 12-15 minutes. Then add the beans and simmer for a further 5 minutes. Season to taste.
  2. Cook the gnocchi as per pack instructions. Drain well, add to the sauce for 2 minutes and serve immediately with fresh grated parmesan and coarsely chopped basil.
